Thanks to the clean diesel options on vehicles like the all new Audi Q5 and Audi Q7, many Audi vehicles are winning over buyers as well as awards for the best fuel economy in their respective classes. With all the recent success and praise Audi believes they are ready to go fully electric.
Circle Audi customers may get the opportunity to check out the innovative electric Audi E-Tron at our Audi dealership located at 1919 North Lakewood Blvd in Long Beach, California. But, as of now, it is still uncertain if the E-Tron will be a full line of hybrid and all-electric cars or if it will be the name of specific Audi model. Recently, Audi fans spotted a two-seater coupe running only on electric power being tested in Berlin.
The German luxury automaker teased fans with the new concept before the official unveiling at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September by driving the futuristic concept through downtown Berlin. The dozens of posted YouTube videos solidifies the indication that Audi knows how to strategically use viral marketing.
Allelectriccars.com adds that, "Audi's take on modern urban electric transport favors the tandem two-seat arrangement which sees the passenger sit directly behind the driver. This makes the overall car much thinner and increases driver visibility thanks to a centralized driving position. It also reduces frontal area, which along with the tall, thin tires, helps improve aerodynamics to reduce drag and improve energy efficiency."1
Make sure to stay tuned for more news on Audi hybrids and electric vehicles. We are just as anxious as you to see what surprises the German luxury automaker has for Audi fans at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
