Uncompromising brand standards visible within a range of varying models...that's what we at Circle Audi like to see. That's also exactly what consumers can expect with the new project from Audi. After taking customer feedback into consideration, the luxury automaker has decided to switch things up across their current design language yet do so with no sacrifice to the high-performance and premium materials we've come to expect.
Launching in the very near future, the project is known as "AQR." "A" stands for Audi and includes the brand's saloons and hatches. Next, "Q" represents Quattro and comprises SUV models. Lastly, the "R" covers all Audi sports car models. According to Stefan Sielaff, Audi Design Director, the automaker's design team will distinguish each of these three vehicle sectors with its own grille, headlamps shape and body surfacing. In a recent Autocar article, Sielaff said, "We know that some people think our saloons look too alike and [we] are well into a project to change that."1
Of course, you can bet your bottom dollar that every redesigned variant will still handle with all the classic Audi charm. In fact, Circle Audi invites you test drive any new Audi model and experience the luxury brand for yourself. That way, when project AQR hits production, you'll have something to compare it with. Also, if this bit of Audi information has left you wanting more, feel free to contact us online with questions or talk with one of our brand ambassadors in person at 1919 North Lakewood Boulevard Long Beach, CA 90815.
