Adding speed to swank, a U.K.-based limousine brokerage service called Limo Broker has announced plans to build the world's premier Audi R8 stretch limo. Warning: if you're an upscale consumer who enjoys a relaxing, calm ride in an elegant vehicle, the R8 limousine is not for you. That's because it is also the world's fastest stretch limo.

Transforming our notion of VIP transportation, the new limousine will offer luxurious styling and amenities yet will achieve all the speed and power of an Audi R8 sports car. Just how fast will this luxury limo go? Well, the swanky speed-mobile is still in the works so the automaker hasn't released exact figures quite yet. But considering its more compact cousin pushes 0-60 in under 3.7-seconds and offers top speeds around 194-mph...we're going to go ahead and say pretty darn fast.

Finished off in an eye-catching white paint, the Audi R8 limousine will hold a V10 engine, wear a snappy white paint job and receive gullwing doors. Unlike the R8 sports car, this stretched-out ride will contain enough room to fit eight passengers in its premium, leather-covered bucket seats. Last but not least, you're probably wondering when the Audi R8 V10 Limo will roll out of production and on to the streets. The answer? Prom season of course. Engineers are working extra hard to have the revamped R8 ready to go by the time proms and weddings start to occur in late spring.
