Kamran has been a part of the Circle family since 2004. Kamran has held various positions throughout both Circle Audi and Circle Porsche. While earning his BS degree in Business at USC, he worked part time in sales at both stores. A highlight of his sales career was in 2009 when he finished #1 in Audi's Western Region Walk-a-Round contest. He has since been promoted to a part of the management team, first as a Finance Manager and currently, as one of Circle Audi's Sales Managers. As a true car guy, he has owned and worked on everything from classic muscle cars to modern Porsche cars. An L.A. area native, Kamran enjoys surfing, sailing and travel in his free time.
Steve Chew is one of our most seasoned veterans here at Circle Audi. He has been an important part of the team since we were Circle Imports, over 15 years. Steve has spent his entire career with the Porsche and Audi brands, so his product knowledge goes back over four decades of model lines. Before working with Porsche and Audi, he worked with his father at the family service station in 1965. Steve actually owns a 1962 Porsche 356B (T5) sunroof coupe that he still works on during his free time. When not managing our Circle Audi Parts Departments, he enjoys reading, fishing, and traveling with his wife of over 40 years. Steve's extensive product knowledge and experience makes him the perfect choice when looking for answers to all of your parts and accessories questions.
Matt Tompkins has been our Pre-owned Sales Manager for over 5 years. He's always had an entrepreneurial spirit, evidenced by a self-built business started in 2001 and sold in 2007. After selling his business, he ventured into the automotive world, managing the wholesale vehicles at a local Ferrari dealership. With this background, he has been able to build a nationwide network to source the best of best pre-owned cars, an advantage our competitors find hard to beat. Matt is a self-proclaimed car guy who, as a kid, traveled the country with his dad, entering their '64 Dodge Dart GT Convertible in car shows, which is still in the family today. Now, when he's not busy appraising trade-ins and managing our Pre-owned inventory, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
Carl Laing is a proud Navy Veteran who served in the Vietnam War, earning a combat medal during his service. His Naval career enabled him to see the world, and he has many fond memories from that time in his life. Carl continued his travels, visiting many countries including China, Jamaica, Germany, and Mexico. He also made time to obtain his BA from San Jose State University. In addition to his military career, Carl was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Sub-Saharan Africa which he claims was the toughest job he loved the most. Now civil service retired, he joined Circle Audi in 2006. When he's away from our showroom, Carl spends his time exercising, playing piano, and with his grandkids. Stop by Circle Audi today and say "hello" to Carl. He loves meeting fellow Audi enthusiasts and sharing his passion for the Audi brand he describes as sophisticated and progressive. Let him tell you why he and his wife are eagerly eying the 2015 Audi A3 sedan.
Steve Lavinsky is an East Coast transplant and fan of all things Philadelphia (yes, even the 76ers). After attaining his master's degree in business psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, Steve barely escaped a career in law like his siblings and headed instead to Israel for 10 years of international trade work in advertising and publishing. He speaks fluent Hebrew, accent notwithstanding. He resumed his US career in New York and then headed west for the year-round tennis and a love for German cars. He was so impressed with the strong service ethic at Circle Audi when he bought his Audi A4 that he decided to use his people skills to spread his passion for our brand. When Steve's not out enjoying the California sunshine on the tennis courts or golf courses, he's at Circle Audi showing our customers the same strong service ethic he received as a customer.
Rainer Stiller is our resident German expert! Not only was Rainer born in Germany, he has also been working with German cars since 1997 when he joined the Circle Audi team. Back then, we were Circle Imports and also sold Volkswagen and Porsche cars out of one showroom. Rainer truly believes in the Audi brand and the cars he sells. As a current owner of 3 Audi cars, he definitely knows these cars in and out. Because of his outstanding customer service and follow-up, Rainer has been able to create quite a network of clients over his many years with Circle Audi, with many repeat customers. When he's not busy building relationships with all of his clients, Rainer loves spending time with his wife and 3 daughters. He's also a huge movie buff and enjoys tackling home improvement projects. Stop by Circle Audi today, and ask for "the German Guy." He'll be more than happy to make your next Audi purchase and enjoyable experience.
